My application for US citizenship has been filed but my husband and I got separated, what will happen with my application?

You should really review all aspects of this case with an experienced Immigration Attorney to figure out your next move before it is too late. The investment for a consultation will be much less than dealing with a negative outcome later on. I do these by telephone for those that are unable to travel to the office or are in a different part of the United States.

How do I know what my case number is?

Answered by attorney Phong Thanh Tran (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Law Office of Pho Ethan Tran, PLLC
There are essentially two "case numbers" for relative petitions. For USCIS, the receipt number can be found on the receipt notice or approval notice. For the NVC, the case number can be found on any correspondences that the petitioner or beneficiary may have received from the NVC. Both numbers begin with three letters and is followed by ten digits.

How much do I need to earn to file a I-130 Form for my mother?

Answered by attorney Bruce A. Coane (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Coane & Associates, PLLC
There is no financial requirement for an I-130. Of course, if it gets approved, you'd have to do an affidavit of support when she adjusts or consular processes, and in that case, your income would need to be above the poverty level, or you'd need co-sponsor.
