Nothing will permit you to obtain a divorce sooner than six months from the date the other side is served with papers seeking a divorce. Remember that the final judgment of divorce is not automatic. You need to file certain papers with the court to get the final.

After 10 years+ of living together he is leaving me

Stephen Marc Drucker

California is not a 'common law' state and as such does not recognize common law marriages.  If you and your friend lived together and both contributed to the home, then you may have recourse in the civil court. However, you could not get spousal support because you are not and were not married.  If you have children, you could file for child support.
