What should I do if there is an unlawful warrant out for my arrest?

Answered by attorney Robert W. Eutsler (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Eutsler Law Firm
Its too late to remove the warrant except by turning yourself in. The zero bond forces you to come to court to see the judge face to face. Then, a bond will be set unless case is resolved. First, talk to a lawyer who knows how it works in your jurisdiction. Show him or her exactly what you wrote and what I am reading online now. Find out the best way to get the quickest court date for your particular county and judge. Your court might allow you to appear in court with a lawyer without posting bond. If there is no other way, turn yourself in on the best day that will get your case on the docket as fast as possible. Keep doing your classes and paying in the meantime.

How can I stop someone from accusing my daughter of breaking and entering?

Answered by attorney Craig W. Elhart (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Craig W. Elhart, PC
There is no practical way to stop someone from saying something. However, allegations of commiting a crime could be slander. If this continues to be a problem you should consult with an attorney.

Can my neighbor accuse me of drunk driving?

Answered by attorney Seth David Schraier
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Office of Seth D. Schraier, P.C.
Your neighbor can accuse you of drunk driving all he wants, but fortunately you cannot be arrested for drunk driving based on the testimony of the neighbor and without any additional evidence. Had the police come and found you in your car with the keys in the ignition that night, and you had blown a .08 or higher, then they could have arrested you. But the police will probably inform the neighbor that there's nothing they can do to arrest you for drunk driving for previous nights unless they were called to the scene and could administer a breathalyzer.
