Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
If you do not have a felony conviction, you can own a gun sometimes the records are wrong and CBI will deny you the right to buy a gun, but I have helped people correct CBI records so they can buy - let me know if you need some help.

How likely is it that my son will go to prison on a probation violation on original felony drug possession?

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela
Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
He is likely to go to prison unless he can convince the judge that this time he wants to get off drugs and will follow rules. He should get involved in a drug program in the jail asap.
