What is going to happen now if I’m on probation for misdemeanor assault violation?

Criminal Law lawyer at The Montes Law Firm
Speak to your P.O. and ask if you could show the proof you were in the hospital at the time. You might have to turn yourself in and provide proof, leave copies with your relatives, that you were hospitalized. It is highly unlikely that a warrant was issued just for that, however, every county sets its own threshold for issuing warrants for probation violations. You may also be able to post a bond, call a bonding company to inquire about that option. Good luck.

Getting off probation early

Answered by attorney Tristan Nicolas Legrande
Criminal Law lawyer at LeGrande Law
We can't quote prices on this forum, but it would be notably less than representation on the case from the start. Considerations include if you have completed community service hours, paid all fines, fees and restitution, if you have had issues on probation, and whether probation is holding you back. The code says the judge can grant it if it is in the best interest of the defendant and society.
