Hired Law Firm

Represented me in a DUI case and succeeded in getting the charges dismissed. He filed an appeal and the case was linked to an appeal before the Georgia Supreme Court based on insufficient advice of rights against self-incrimination and involuntary chemical testing by not advising her of her Miranda rights prior to administration of said testing. District Attorney then declined to prosecute case. Mr. Burkhalter provided more than adequate representation. Client is very pleased with this outcome.

Mr. Burkhalter helped me with a family matter that should have been simple and easily resolved. It continued for over a year through no fault of his. Mr Burkhalter gave me excellent advice, returned my phone calls and e-mails in a very timely manner a nb d helped me to resolve my case very satisfactorily. Very dependable, honest, and trustworthy. Cost less than any other local att. in the area. Was willing to take phone calls at odd hours and didn't overcharge for rates. Sought approval for every piece of correspondence in the issue. I would, hands down, recommend him as a high quality attorney. Fought tooth and nail for a judgement and was very practical in knowing what was possible to achieve.

Mr. Burkhalter handled my DUI trial with ease. He is knowledgeable and confident and has what seems to be a good working rapport with other lawyers, the prosecutors, and the judge who tried my case. Mr. Burkhalter may not hold your hand and walk you through this process, but he will be the best person to know your case forward and backward and do everything he can to win your case.

Consistently lied to me, put off scheduled court hearing for personal vacation and contacted opposing attorney saying I was ok with it when I didn't even know about his vacation taking precedence. When it came to the end he essentially told me to settle or pay expenses now knowing everything I had was tied up in the probate. I had to settle, then he didn't hold up his agreement on charging less money cause he basically got me nothing and tried to make me feel like the bad guy for being upset.
