I've long been an advocate of seeking the knowledge and assistance of experts, encouraging my troops to do that in all their endeavors...well this time it was my turn. I received a lot of advice from folks who retired before me about my VA claim and all it did was confuse me. I went through the state VA to file my initial claim which resulted in me scratching my head over why I received certain ratings. At the advice of a good friend (who I now owe a favor to!) I contacted the folks at the Berry Law Firm. Sean was assigned to my case, which he reviewed thoroughly and then we talked. He was interested in me and my individual circumstances and developed a plan that was specific to me. He ultimately helped me get the accurate ratings for my conditions which ensures I'll receive the care I've earned for the rest of my life. I had trouble with getting things service connected even with the help of the DAV, the VA kept messing up paperwork, after many conversations a coworker referred me to Berry where we got everything properly connected! I was a passenger in a vehicle that was t-boned by an SUV that chose to run a red light. Luckily I was the only one who was severely injured. I ended up needing surgery for my injuries, was out of work for 6 weeks, and needed several months of physical and occupational therapy to aide in my recovery . I hired Evan because I had zero knowledge on what to even do in this situation to help get my medical bills covered. From our first meeting Evan was an excellent listener when he learned the details of my case. During my recovery he has done an amazing job at not only asking how I’m feeling, but also providing me on where we are at in my case.
