I cannot enable you to shirk your responsibilities to properly address these substantial financial issues through an attorney. At least use the Family Law Facilitator at your Courthouse for free legal counseling and assistance in self-representation.

How do I get a QDRO filed without an attorney?

Answered by attorney Mark T. Peters (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Peters Law, PLLC
First there has to be a divorce. Second, it has to be part of the property settlement. If it is, call the trustee for the 401k or the pension. They may have a preferred form for the QDRO. Then get it in proper format for the court. However, if the divorce was granted without any mention of the retirement benefits, it may be too late. Sometimes, the cost of the attorney is less than losing the benefit.

Can I ask the courts to stop spousal support if my ex moves back in with her parents?

File a motion to modify support. Problem is you will have to prove she's getting free rent and how much. It may not be enough to reduce support too much and probably wouldn't stop support.
