Does my spouse get any money from my car accident settlement?

Bruce Provda
Answered by attorney Bruce Provda (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Provda Law Firm
It's hard to tell without reading your settlement agreement. Generally this would not be marital asset unless there were some funds for him for loss of consortium.

Is there any way to have support alimony awarded to me?

Answered by attorney Steven Jed Alpers (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Steven J. Alpers, A Professional Corporation
I cannot give a full answer. If the court reserved jurisdiction to award support, definitely. While the inheritance is separate property, if he is earning income on that inheritance, that can be considered in setting support. You should be eligible for child support if nothing else.

If I was married 23 years to my former spouse, am I entitled to any of his 401k benefits?

Perhaps is the only answer that I can give you based upon such little information. The thing to do is to have a full discussion with a local family attorney.
