If I file for divorce, how long until my husband can be drug tested?

The only other test is a hair follicle test that will track drug usage over time. I do not believe that it will track alcohol usage.

Is my ex-wife allowed to have the house rented if the mortgage is in her name but the house was awarded to me in the divorce?

Doesnt sound like it. Are you current on the mortgage? Is the house going in foreclosure? If you are current, then I suggest that you write a letter to her, keep a copy, and tell her that the decree gave you the house and she has no rights in it. If she continues, go to court and ask the court to have her stop. If you are behind on the mortgage, then she may have come up with a way to keep the mortgage current. Regardless, talk with your attorney who handled the divorce.

I was divorced in 2005 and my attorney past away a few years ago. How do I find out where my file is or who is handling my attorneys files?

Answered by attorney Charles D. Scott (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at The Law Offices of Charles D. Scott PLLC
Attorneys are only required to keep files for 7 years. If your divorce was in 2005, more than 7 years have passed, and I doubt that the file still exists.  The good news is that the divorce judgement, and any related settlement agreements, or court orders are  maintained by the Clerk of Circuit Court in the county where your divorce was granted. You can go to the clerk of court and obtain copies of your file at any time.
