How do I find out if my husband divorced me?

If he knew where you were, he had a duty to serve you with his petition for divorce. If he didn't it could have been done by publication. Contact the county court where he lived and see if there is a divorce decree on file. Otherwise, you can file a divorce where you are since there are probably no property issues at this point.

File amended paperwork to ensure the child is included. You may need to refile if you filed for summary dissolution as that does not provide for kids.

How can I find out if my spouse filed for a divorce in Los Angeles County?

Go to the courthouse in the county where your husband is a resident and search the court records for a divorce filing. Since you are in southern California, it might be possible to research the question on line by accessing the court house website for the county in which your husband resides. Good luck.
