Call the Idaho State Bar and ask for a referral. You may want to get two or three names and interview the attorneys. But even if uncontested, it is better to go with an attorney to make sure you do not miss anything like the 401k, etc.

Can a separated parent relocate the kids to another state legally?

The answer to your question depends on any court orders that may be present in your case. For example, if there is a "Standing Order" which prohibits removing the minor children from the jurisdiction of the court, then your answer is "no". You need to schedule a consultation with an attorney to enable the attorney to review your case.
