I am unsure about an annulment after 6 months ... that depends upon a certain set of facts. He can get a divorce though. Michigan is a no-fault divorce state so if either spouse wants a divorce it must be granted.

In Michigan, whether you are entitled to "spousal support" (the technical term for alimony) is dependent on several factors, often referred to as the "Sparks" factors, after the landmark Michigan case Sparks vs. Sparks. Some of the more important factors are: 1) the length of the marriage; 2) the parties' respective incomes; 3) the parties' respective earning capacities; and 4) the parties' respective ages and health. A good starting point for you is to confirm your husband's exact income, through tax returns and recent paystubs verifying year-to-date income.
