Can I get a divorce even if my wife is pregnant? How?

Answered by attorney Joanna Marie Mitchell (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Joanna Mitchell & Associates, P.A.
Yes, there is no reason why you cannot get a divorce even if your Wife is pregnant. The child would just be addressed in the divorce papers. You should hire an attorney to assist you.

If I got married in one state, how do I file for divorce in another state?

Robert Jensen 'Bob' Matlock
Answered by attorney Robert Jensen 'Bob' Matlock (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Mackoy, Hernandez, Jones and Woods LLP
Where you were married is not important. You need to meet the residence requirements in the state where you live before you file suit. In Texas it is 6 months in the state and 90 days in the county. I suggest you hire a lawyer.

What happens to my alimony if my ex left the country

Eric N. Klein
Answered by attorney Eric N. Klein (Unclaimed Profile)

No matter where he goes in the world, he is still required to make payment. If he stops making payments, the issue becomes enforceability AND the cost to enforce. You should consult with a highly skilled family law attorney. Good luck!
