If the facts bear it out. However, it is ultimately up to the prosecutor as to whether the charges are filed. If the facts show that you are just "trying to get even", the charges won't be filed.

Will a domestic violence charge in Colorado show up on a criminal tenant background check in Minnesota if the case was ultimately dismissed?

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela
Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
If the case was not sealed from public view, then it will show as an arrest - it may not show a disposition - you can check what is present by requesting your criminal history from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation on-line - its less than 10 bucks if you want help sealing the record, lets discuss representation - if all charges were ultimately dismissed, then it can be sealed - i charge $2000 for that.
