Can a misdemeanor in Colorado be expunged?

Answered by attorney Jonathan S. Willett
Criminal Law lawyer at Jonathan S. Willett Attorney at Law
Hello- Misdemeanor assault convictions cannot be expunged in Colorado, unless the plea agreement was for a "deferred judgment." Conceivably, a sitting governor can grant a pardon for the conviction, which effectively eliminates it.

Can probation forget you were on probation?

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela
Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
If there is a warrant, turn yourself in if probation expired without a motion to revoke probation filed, then it is over if they filed after probation expired, then that case can be won on procedural grounds.

If you have a PPO against you, can you own a firearm?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
It depends on what the PPO order says. Sometimes the judges will include that in the order and sometimes they will not. Check the PPO to see which boxes are checked.
