Probably not on a misdemeanor, but one never knows. There will be an active warrant out for your arrest until you face it.

The TV in your house was stolen from a store, or was it stolen from your house? The state has pressed charges, and if you are properly subpoenaed to court you can be held in contempt if you do not go.

What should I do if my brother called to tell me he has been arrested?

Answered by attorney Eric J Trabin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Trabin Law Firm, P.L.
Hire him a lawyer. Your brother should have a right to a bond but if he doesn't have a bond or can't afford one then the lawyer can go before a judge and try to have one granted or lowered. You can probably look up online from the jail what charges your brother is being arrested for. Ultimately, he needs a lawyer to handle his case, in and out of jail.
