Can I be charged with burglary of unoccupied dwelling if I never entered dwelling, but took vehicle out of yard?

You are probably not going to beat the burglary charge by representing yourself. With a good attorney, anything is possible. However, there will be important questions that might turn the case in any direction: (1) what was taken from the house; (2) when was it supposedly taken; (3) do you have burglaries on your criminal history; (4) how many thefts do you have on your criminal history; (5) why did you steal vehicle from the drive (just because it was there?). I suspect that the lack of sympathy for you (once the prosecutor proves that you are a thief) will speak louder than the prosecutor's lack of physical evidence of you being in the house.

Anyone can sue anyone for anything. The issue is not do you have a case, the issue is do you have money for an attorney. See website for info on retaining the right attorney:

What can I do if I want to drop the domestic violence charge against my boyfriend?

Nothing. Once you file charges it is totally out of your control. You need to consult with your own lawyer about what to do when subpoenaed to testify.
