Hired Law Firm
Working with David Ossian was absolutely worry-free and a flawless process. After using various other organizations to appeal denied claims, I finally opted to go with the Berry Law Firm. My attorney, David Ossian, never made promises or unrealistic predictions. He was factual, organized, and informative. The outcome was beyond what I had expected. In addition to increasing my rating too 100%, David was able to get me additional benefits that I was unfamiliar with. If you're on the fence whether to hire an attorney, pull the trigger and commit with the Berry Law Firm and ask for David Ossian!
I was nervous when I started contacting attorneys for my case. Then I contacted Berry Law Firm. Mr. Collingham explained to me in great detail what the process would involve and time frames. I did get my settlement sooner than he believed I would, but I am not gonna scold him for that,Lol. Mr. Collingham was such a pleasure to work with and always kept me informed of the process of my case. Mr. Collingham also informed me that I recieved the largest pre trial settlement in Berry Law Firm history! WOW! THANK YOU BERRY LAW FIRM AND GOD BLESS MR. COLLINGHAM
The whole team at the law firm and my lawyer Matt Bartling are beyond what one can ask for! They understood what I was going through and went to work right away. Within a short amount of time they got me my rating and I couldn’t have been happier. I would recommend them to any vet over and other firm!

Hired Law Firm
I am a veteran and was rated at 80% by the VA Berry Law Firm (Ms. Corrina Bartels specifically) understood how bad my medical.conditions were and how to articulate that to the VA in a way I never could have. 1 year later I am rated at 100% by the VA and being seen at Gainesville (Malcomb Randall VA Hosp) for my ailments. I would reccomend these folks to anyone needing real help!
I served about ten years on active duty with the US Army in the Infantry. During my first 6 months in-service, I survived two IED attacks on my positions while serving on reaction forces defending against insurgent and terrorist attacks. I was seriously wounded on both occasions, more so on the second attack than the first. I left active duty service in 1993 and by 2005, I was in bad shape suffering from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury and a plethora of subsequent secondary issues. Berry Law and Jamie Bell got me 70% for PTSD and 30% for IU making a combined rating of 100% after multiple claim denials and low-ball ratings. On a second claim for Dizziness, Jamie Bell got me a rating for a straight 100% for Meniere's Syndrome after 7 denials and a low-ball rating. Jamie, then, went over and above and insured that the VA awarded me the additional benefit for “Special Monthly Compensation” which I became eligible for with the award of a second disability rating of 65% or higher.
I had filed a VA disability claim on my own and was very disappointed when it was returned denied. I felt that this decision was wrong but did not know where to start on the appeal process. I did a few online searches and found the name of the Berry Law Firm. After submitting my information for assistance Seth Chambers reached out to me. He was more than willing to help me with my appeal. Throughout the process Seth and his legal assistant Missy were very attentive to my questions and concerns, they were timely with their responses and always made sure I was in the loop. Thanks to Seth and Missy's hard work and dedication to my case the VA returned a favorable decision on my appeal. I was awarded backpay from the date of my original claim and a fair disability percentage. I couldn't be happier with the results that Seth and Missy were able to make possible for me. I would highly recommend those searching for assistance reach out to the Berry Law Firm!
Great experience with Seth Chambers Veterans advocate. He helped me reach my disability rating goals. He is professional and knowledgeable with VA claims. He responds to your questions in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend Stephanie Costello and her staff to fight for you. I found Berry Law Firm and it was the best decision I ever made. I went through countless advocates and veterans groups with no success, I served from 1975 to 2013,where I started fighting for VA compensation, after 6 years of my appeals claims, I was awarded a 10% disability, I then found Berry Law Firm and Ms Costello, the fight was long and sometimes seemed helpless, however, the compassion and hard work of Ms Costello and staff won my case, I went from 10% to 90% disability. This is definitely a life changing victory. I cannot express my gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Ms Costello and the Berry Law Firm, please let Ms Costello and Berry Law Firm work for you, be patient I'm sure that you, like myself know the issues dealing with the VA. Please let these professionals work for you
Working with David Ossian was the best experience for me ever. He checked in with me and kept me informed on what our next move was. He took the time to call me and calm me down before I went to an appointment that I was very anxious about. He explained everything that I should expect and what the next steps would be. Berry law is an amazing firm and they fight for you like you are their family. I highly recommend Berry Law they will definitely fight tooth and nail on your case.
The VA continued to deny my claim year after year, and lead me to become frustrated and caused me to give up! I ultimately decided to seek legal representation and found Berry Law. I forwarded them my case in 2015 and the ball was completely in their court. Shortly after hiring Berry Law the VA began awarding me my disability rating. I went from a 20% rating in 2010 to now a 90% rating and more pending disabilities. Berry Law did it all and I am most Grateful!!!!
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
