Hired Law Firm
Veteran-Centered Approach: They truly understand the unique challenges veterans face. I never felt like just another case number—my story mattered to them. Clear Communication: Every step of the appeal was explained in plain language. I always knew what to expect and felt empowered to make informed decisions. Relentless Advocacy: They fought hard for my benefits, digging into medical records, service history, and legal precedents to build a strong case. If you're a veteran struggling with a denied VA claim, don’t go it alone. Berry Law is more than a law firm—they’re allies in your fight for justice. Their professionalism, empathy, and results-driven mindset make them a standout in the field.
Cant say enough about Samantha and the work she did for me and my claims cases with veterans affairs. Always attentive with any question Ive had and always got back to me within 24 hours. Can't say the same about other lawyers Ive had in the past. Shes made feel like my cases actually matter to her and the professionalism and work she put in has paid off because she helped me go from a 10% va disability rating to 90%, and all i had to do was sit back and let her do her job. Which was huge for me and my stress levels during this process. 100% recommend her and Berry Law to any of my fellow military veterans that need help navigating the va claims process
Corrina & the folks at Berry Law were very professional with communication on time frames that we would hear back from the VA. If a denial letter was sent Berry Law was back at it with appeals till the case was won. At the end of the day I received 100% P&T.
I have used other lawyers in the past, and Jason is the best. He does wonderful work and knows the law. Whenever I had a question he knew how to help. And he understood my problems I highly recommend!!
First off, I was referred to Barry Law from my insurance agent. From the moment that I contacted them until the last possible moment, I felt extremely cared for. I called them very distraught about a car accident that I was the victim of and was still suffering with a lot of physical pain from that. Then trying to deal with all the medical claims, the other person’s insurance & my new medical appointments was just overwhelming for me. Rachel and her team not only took the stress off of it for me, but they communicated thoroughly & continued to inform me of every step of the entire process. They were able to keep all the providers from sending me over to collections & ended up winning my case so that I was able to pay all the medical providers and even get my savings account paid back after having to purchase a new vehicle. I honestly can’t say enough about the way that they took care of this all for me. If you’re considering hiring them, do it! You’d be foolish not to.
Mykaylan made every step of the legal process very easy for me. She explained everything along the way. She was very responsive and communicated throughout the entire process. I was able to complete the entire process through phone calls and emails. She was very professional. I would highly recommend Mykaylan and Berry Law Firm to others.
I cannot say enough great things about my experience working with Jacob Frys at Berry Law. From the very beginning, Jacob approached my case with professionalism, patience, and genuine care. He took the time to really understand my situation and walked me through every step of the process. What stood out the most was how responsive and knowledgeable he was—he always made me feel like I was a priority, not just another file. Navigating the VA disability system can feel overwhelming, but Jacob’s guidance made it clear and manageable. Thanks to his dedication and expertise, I was able to move from 80% to 100% Permanent and Total disability—a life-changing outcome for me and my family. I truly appreciate his persistence, his encouragement, and the way he fought on my behalf. If you’re a veteran looking for someone who will go the extra mile and treat your case with the seriousness it deserves, I wholeheartedly recommend Jacob Frys and the team at Berry Law!
Worked great didn’t have to appear in court once. Kept me updated and posted whenever things had changed. Would say is very much worth the price Abbie is very knowledgeable in what she does. 10/10 would recommend.
Absolutely exceptional lawyer. My father was denied by the VA multiple times for multiple cases over his health. My father was exposed by Agent Orange while serving in the military and has multiple health issues. The VA denied him for health issues and kept him on partial disability just for his knee of all things. So, after denials, we reached out to Mr. Jason Thomas through Berry Law, and Mr. Thomas turned denials into wins. A 40% disability rating to 100%+, with some back pay as a lump sum payment. We went from one or two cases to multiple cases, ensuring my father gets everything he deserves. Without Mr. Jason Thomas, there would be no success with the VA. We cannot thank him enough.
As a 20-year Air Force veteran, I retired with a 60% disability rating that didn’t fully reflect the conditions I endured from my service. Feeling frustrated and unfairly denied, my wife and I researched top law firms and chose Berry Law for their stellar reputation. From my first interaction with Corrina Bartels, I knew I was in capable hands. Corrina’s professionalism, compassion, and expertise turned a daunting appeals process into a clear, manageable journey. She provided step-by-step guidance, ensuring I understood exactly what documentation and medical evaluations were needed. Her proactive approach and attention to detail were remarkable. In just over a year, thanks to Corrina’s relentless advocacy, the VA awarded me a 100% disability rating—a life-changing victory for me and my family. Corrina didn’t just handle my case; she gave me hope and delivered results beyond my expectations. If you’re a veteran seeking justice for your disability claim, don’t wait—reach out to Corrina!
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
