Paid $500 for representation for a traffic citation In July 2024. Letter of Representation was never received by the court during the span of 15 months. Court appearance scheduled for September 2025. Mr. Reed was not present for my court appearance (and I had to represent myself) after confirming with me that he received the notice via email that I sent. A bench warrant would have been issued had I depended on Mr. Reed to show up on my behalf without being present personally. After informing the court that I paid for representation and my attorney was not present, I was instructed to file a complaint with the Texas Bar. All communication with Mr. Reed has been via text messages. For some reason, he does not acknowledge receipt of emails, instead choosing to confirm via text. I requested a refund due to no formal representation, to which he replied he had a conflict on the day of my hearing and he was unsuccessful in reaching the court since July 2024. No phone call or email.
