Are judgments included in Chapter 7 bankruptcy?

If the debt is a kind of debt that is dischargeable, you can still discharge the debt even though there is a judgment. You may have to take extra steps to have the judgment satisfied in state court or to have the judgment lien lifted, however. Speak to your attorney about this.

Am I still legally responsible in any way if she defaults on the loan?

The answer to this question depends on what your divorce decree says. If you were supposed to remain liable for a portion of the debt and indemnify your ex according to your divorce papers, then you may face problems either in the bankruptcy court or in the state court where you got your divorce.

What will happen if our home is included in our bankruptcy?

Answered by attorney Tony E. Carballo (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Carballo Law Offices
As long as the payments are made nothing will change with regard to the house. Secured debt such as a mortgage is not affected by Chapter 7. It is said that the lien (mortgage or deed of trust) rides through Chapter 7. The only problem might be if your boyfriend has more equity in the house than he can exempt (protect) under state law. In that case the trustee could sell the house to recover the part of the equity not exempt in order to pay his creditors. If there is no equity or very little then you do not need to worry about it as long as the payments are current.
