Mr. Davis assisted me in a divorce proceeding that dragged on for two and a half years because my husband was uncooperative.
He was very focused at all times and was considerate of my work schedule when scheduling appointments.
I've known Mr Davis as an attorney for over 30 years. I had a very difficult , if not impossible case for Mr Davis to resolve. He is brilliant, VERY tough, works extremely hard for the rights of you and your family, and your calls are always returned asap. My case was resolved and the outcome shows the experience and determination with which he would give to you in your particular case. You will not find another attorney with as much drive and determination to prevail for you as Neil S Davis.
Excellent legal assistance, consummate professional, caring and personal support! Neil Davis went out of his way to call me the day of court and provide me verbal support and his professional opinion regarding steps I needed to take if all went well and also to make sure I was prepared mentally. Never had I had this type of personal touch on top of expert legal guidance. The judge ruled in our favor because of the preparedness and expert guidance - Many thanks to Neil Davis law firm.
While going through a very difficult divorce,I was forced to find a new atty. Every attorney I called told me my case was "impossible, but the only other atty who could help me was Neil S Davis". He took my case AND WE WON! Mr Davis {for you} works very hard, fights hard, and fights to win. I've seen many attys "perform" in the courtroom, but Neil Davis is tough, real, knows the law, and is the best trial lawyer there is. IF you are able to retain him, THEN will you have the very best!
I was a wreck for a good portion of my protracted and ugly divorce. I put myself in their hands and they were wonderful. I feel lucky that I had the benefit of both of their expertise. Anne and Neil were supportive (yet no nonsense), knowledgeable, explained everything as we went along, and got me everything I needed. Anne gave up her entire weekend to work on my case, right before we went to trial. They are both consummate professionals -- you can rest easy with them on your side.
Always seemed to be on the back burner for other clients. Communication was lacking including via e-mail. Over billed for services rendered. Especially taking advantage of clients who live out of state for Estates and Trusts (which require lawyer appointment per MA law).
He talked a good game with the initial meeting, but during deposition and trial, he was not prepared, got angry and decided he was not going to continue with the deposition. Did not ask relevant questions and made the x look like a saint and he a crazy man. They forgot to bring up issues and property; had to pay him more for another motion after divorce decree was issued because "the judge" made the mistake. Not professional at all and costs more than is worth.
I cannot believe this "attorney" is still practicing divorce law. He made an already horrible situation even worse. He charged me 400 bucks per hour, and did nothing positive for me at all. It has been several years, but, I am trying to advise any future clients to stay away. I lost almost 8 grand to Davis, and he actually caused more trouble than I thought possible. I could go on for thousands of words, but, in summary, he was angry, unprepared, failed to tell me my court date had changed, I sat in court for 6 hours waiting for him, until I was told the date was changed. He told me that the wife's drinking problem would help me, which is not true. I spent hundreds of dollars making copies of documents that he never even glanced at. He often yelled at his staff and temper tantrums were very common. He also made very bad comments about my great family attorney, and honestly, it is a shame that he is allowed to continue. After I fired him, everything went much better. Terrible.
please if you value your money and time, etc., do yourself a favor and forget about hiring davis!!!!!!!! I can honestly say I did better after i fired him, and had no attorney to close my divorce case. If talk, especially swearing, yelling, screaming, nonsense, etc., was worth anything davis would be richest person ever. He promised me the world, and, I as a layman, told him several times that Mass is a no fault divorce state and ex was entitled to half of all assets. He always kept me waiting, and he constantly used disgusting language, especially towards female lawyers. I am still shocked that he has continued his practice, and he recently moved from Worcester t o Northborough, so he will be continuing to be a horrible lawyer. I am naive, i think, i actually thought paying 400 bucks an hour would behoove me, alas, worst money I ever spent. Davis never was a bit prepared, yelled at his secretary, constantly misled me, and acted as if he was king of the whole world.
