I engaged Steier and McCormick for a mortgage refinancing with C. McCormick as my contact. I got the sense he was looking at my file the first time when I arrived for my appointment. He was not prepared. This resulted in the transaction not being completed correctly. I had to amend some of the original forms that his firm submitted. Not good stuff at all. Would not use again.

Mark Steier performed the closing on my home back in April 2011 and I have had nothing but problems since. He opened an escrow account for repairs that were not done prior to closing. To date I have not been reimbursed from escrow and him simple told me to take the seller of my house to small claims court. The agreement stated 30 days to complete the repairs but Steier told me not really 30 days sooner rather than later. He is untrustworthy, does not follow through. Would NEVER recommend him
