Attorney Vicente Mendoza speaks fluent English and Spanish. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is licensed to practice law in Mexico.
Attorney Vicente Mendoza is a native of Michoacan, Mexico. At age 26, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. In 2000 he obtained his first Master’s degree at Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. Upon his return to Mexico, Mr. Mendoza was hired as staff attorney at the largest private University in Mexico (Tecnologico de Monterrey). In a span of a decade (from 2000 to 2010) Mr. Mendoza obtained two additional Master’s degrees (corporate law and tax law) and was promoted from staff attorney to head legal counsel at Tecnologico de Monterrey.
After a successful career as a Mexican attorney, Mr. Mendoza along with his wife decided to move to the United States. While studying for the California Bar Exam, Mr. Mendoza worked as a legal assistant in the areas of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. After passing the California Bar Exam, he worked as an associate attorney for an Immigration Law Firm in Fresno California. Now Mr. Mendoza has joined the Law Offices of Axel B. Gomez as a staff attorney where he strives to provide his clients with a personable experience.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Mendoza is a husband and a father of two healthy young children. He is also a faculty member at Merced College where he teaches Court Interpreting and helps bilingual students to be better prepared to pass state and federal examinations for certification as Spanish to English interpreters.
