Bill Colovos represented my case in 2023. He sat with me through a jury trial and represented all evidence I gathered. Lots of evidence the courts tried to leave out. As I realized that things were left out of my case. CPS reports, PPO orders and other things that were not put into evidence to show inconsistencies in statements. Yes, you as a defendant have to do some of your own work. An attorney representing you can only present what they have. The more you can gather the better the outcome. He was successful in proving that I was innocent based off all the gathered and filed information. Thanks to him I was able to have my life back after 2 and a half years of fighting. 2 felonies and 1 misdemeanor acquitted after 2 days of jury. Long overdue review

We hired Bill to work my husband’s DUI case. We had hired another guy who seemed timid and afraid of the court system, Bill was the total opposite. He came out the gate swinging and getting things done. We live in Texas and were being told that my husband had 14 days to turn himself in or be found in contempt. Bill went to the judge and handled this himself. My husband did not have to turn himself into the court. When the trial date arrived, we noticed that my husband’s name was not on the docket. The prosecuting attorneys office had dismissed the case but did not make anyone else aware of that fact. Keep in mind, we had to fly from Texas, get a rental car and hotel accommodations which all came out of our pocket. This upset Bill more than us. He then demanded that the case be dismissed with prejudice (they cannot come back and try to charge him later) to which the court agreed. Bill is also taking things a step further and helping us recoup some of the money spent.

I hired this guy for a serious matter in Woodhaven and he argued with me about in the hall after I payed him 2000 dollars then proceeded to humiliate me in front of the judge because he could . He also walked away before the judge was finished and left me standing at the podium alone not what you expected when you pay an attorney a large sum of money please save yourself money and stress. If you’re at the point of needing a lawyer the last thing you need is more stress.

Where do I start? Horrible attorney. Said he can help me with some changes in my custody situation. Bragged that he is greek and so is the judge. Did not do ANYTHING for months till the opposing counsul filed a case. He lost the case miserably that had dire consequences for me. Then Appealed and lost again. His work is very unprofessional. Spellign mistake. Named Defendant Plantfiff and vice versa. Please Please dont be a victim like me. Go to another attorney as he is only good till he wants your money. Thats it. Not worth the 400 dollars he charges per hour.
