Hired Attorney

David was so unkind to me. I reached out to him for legal advice on a debt collection matter using my MetLife legal benefit. The phone conversation wasn’t terrible, apart from him telling me I was making it more complicated than it is (I am not a lawyer, so I wouldn’t know if it was complicated or not, that’s why I was seeking legal advice.) He checked to see if I had any judgements against me. I asked him if I do not have any judgements against me, if he assists with debt settlement. He said yes, he has dealt with many debt settlements. I asked in one email what the next step would be for debt settlement. I didn’t receive a response, so I emailed again asking what the next steps would be and if he needed further information. Instead of saying “let’s set up a meeting in person”, he sent me a very rude email saying I’m not his client and that he doesn’t accept clients who he hasn’t met before. If you want compassionate and timely responses, I don’t recommend this lawyer.
