The firm is the direct successor to a partnership established in 1899 by George Edmondson Maddox and Colonel William S. McHenry. Over the years, attorneys who had been partners and associates of the firm have served in various capacities in the judicial, legislative, and executive branches of the State of Georgia and the United States and as members of the Georgia Board of Bar Examiners. Attorneys presently in the firm concentrate in various areas of the law, enabling it to offer a wide range of legal services to its clients. In 1999 the firm opened an office in Cedartown, with Michael D. McRae and Robert T. Monroe as its resident attorneys, to expand the geographical base of its practice. The Firm strives to provide the highest quality of legal services, individual attention and effective counseling to its clients.

Hired Attorney Jule W. Peek Jr.

Jule has provided me with council in regard to some personal matters over the years. He also referred me to one of his partners to handle a business litigation matter which resulted in a favorable settlement for me. He has also represented members of my family in matters and did an outstanding job. Jule in my best description is the attorney who other attorneys hope you have not retained that they have go against in court or litigation.

Hired Attorney Mr. Carey Lamar Pilgrim

I repeatedly asked for help with my case and he took weeks to respond back to me. He’s so far in bed with my opponent that it’s a waste to communicate with him when he does communicate. I am at this time, contemplating suing him for malpractice.
