Darby Law Practice firmly believes that bankruptcy is an important legal tool available for the honest, but unfortunate, debtor. Most bankruptcy cases are the result of matters completely outside of an individual's control, including loss of a job or income, a medical emergency or a divorce.

Since its founding in 2008, Darby Law Practice has focused its practice on representing individuals and small businesses in bankruptcy and in various dealings with creditors. The firm files primarily Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.

Hired Law Firm

Darby Law seems to be a high volume Law Firm. If your financial situation is straight forward then I think they would be great even though they seem a little expensive. If you have any type of complexity involved with your situation it is very difficult to receive any help or attention. I never really felt like they were on my team, they seemed most interested in finding a resolution as quickly as possible so they could check me off the list and keep the cattle moving.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
