The way they came across to me was very short; I did not feel the paralegal was very nice. I did not like working with the paralegal they assigned to me. I did not feel like I was being emotionally supported. I did not feel like they were on my side. Also, when I met the attorney (1 time at the end of the services, prior to the submission) he spoke to me in a demeaning way - making me feel bad about the unfortunate situation I was in.
They tend to switch Lawyers often and do not return phone calls with 48 hours. Very difficult to get a hold of any lawyer and can not seem to keep the paperwork together or at all
Firm too large, lack of personal attention for the large fee charged, cold and disconnected attitudes
Attorney was not very knowledgeable.
They where ok, never returned phone calls, had to keep calling all the time.
They advertise small payments, will come to your home, when in fact we had to pay $4,000 up front, and instead of going to firm closest to our home,we had to drive all the way downtown, over 20 miles to main office. The money had to be in cash, and if we were claiming bankruptcy, doesn't that basically mean we are having a hard time financially, and had to take money out of our 401K. Later both attorneys we originally talked to were gone, lack on contingency on our case..lack of call backs etc
The company is so large that we never once spoke with the same person twice. We never met with an actual attorney to give us advice until the signing appointment, and by then, well, it was a wash. We did get the case filed, which is fortunate, but it took us way too long. By the time we got everything and everyone on the same page, we had wasted $1800 on a garnishment that could have possibly been cut in half (if we'd had prompt responses to our messages).
The attorney was very hard to get a hold of and rarely answered questions. He was helpful until we paid in full then we didn't exist. His paralegal did more for us than he did. When it came time to appear in court we found that we had yet a third attorney who knew nothing about us or our case. It was terrible and whenever we needed paperwork it was a huge run around to get.
Even though the out come was benefiting I was very displeased with the process of the Law firm.
I was given misinformation from the start and was bounced around from attorney to attorney and no one knew anything about my case except for the paralegal (who was wonderful.) I didn't even talk to one of my attorneys until I told a voicemail that I was going to call the Attorney General.
