What can be done if lawyer is not responding to emails or phone calls?

Yes, you can get out of the contract if you wish by notifying him that you no longer want him to represent you. It is preferable that you write as well as call him to inform him of your decision so there is no misunderstanding that he never got the message. Thereafter request for your file. Now if you have been sending emails on a daily basis you must take into consideration that the attorney has other clients and would not be able to respond to all your emails or as quickly as you want.

Can I file a bed bug lawsuit?

Answered by attorney Jeffrey Wittenbrink
Personal Injury lawyer at Wittenbrink Law Firm
This question depends upon the character of your lease or rental agreement and when the bed bug infestation arose. Certainly you may have a claim if the home/residence were infested upon move-in, again, depending on several factors such as the wording of your lease and your ability to prove that the bed bugs were present before you got there.

Does insurance cover me if I was injured on my own property? How?

Personal Injury lawyer at Gregory M. Janks, P.C.
You need to read your policy as MI law indicates that the terms thereof control. It is NOT usual that HO covers injuries to the insured or relatives living in the home for in home injuries. HO is typically to cover the HO for injuries to others due to some negligence on the part of the insured. Again, read your policy. Or hire local counsel to do so, if you can not for some reason.
