If a person rear ends another vehicle and causes an accident, is "following too closely" the only charge?

Personal Injury lawyer at Fluhr & Moore, LLC
An officer must have probable cause to believe the person in intoxicated before a breath test can be taken. The smell of alcohol is not sufficient probable cause.

What can I do about the slip and fall at McDonald's?

Barry Mark Regar
Answered by attorney Barry Mark Regar (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Barry Regar A Professional Law Corporation
It sounds like you have a good claim for being injured as a result of a dangerous condition of their property. They created the slippery condition and failed to warn their customers about that fact. If your back hurts you should immediately seek medical attention both to document your injury and to get the necessary treatment you may need. If you have not notified McDonalds about your fall and injury you should do so as soon as possible. I would not give a recorded statement; but limit your reporting to advising them about your fall and making them document the accident. You should also be aware of the fact that you have the responsibility to file a lawsuit against McDonalds within 2 years of the date of the accident in order to protect your Statute of Limitations personal injury lawsuit time limit requirement. Of course if you settle your case before the 2 year deadline you don't file a lawsuit. You should consult with an experienced personal injury lawyer to discuss your case.

Can someone recover personal money taken from her many years ago?

David F. Stoddard
Answered by attorney David F. Stoddard (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at The David F. Stoddard Law Firm
You would have three years from the date you had a cause of action, or from when you should have known you had a cause of action to file suit. If you never demanded the money until within the past three years, you could argue that the date of the first demand was when the time started running (in other words, whoever was holding the money for safekeeping has done nothing wrong until you asked for the money). If you asked for it over three years ago, it is too late (although it may not be too late to bring criminal charges because there is no statute of limitation for criminal charges).
