I suspect he wants to know how badly you are injured and what your medicals are before he files suit. lawyers don't file suit just to get a few more property damage dollars which is what you are seeking. You are not going to be paid what you owe the finance co. you will be paid the fair market value of your car, whatever that is. you cant and wont get more if you file 10 lawsuits. Why don't you cool it. if you don't like your lawyer get a new one and quit bellyaching.

Go straight to your family doctor or to the ER and have your ankle x-rayed. If your boss is playing games with your safety call the NC Industrial Commission in Raleigh or go to their website. File a form 18 (I think that is the number) which is a notice of your claim. File it with the IC and send your boss a copy. If you have a serious injury get you a good PI lawyer.
