Do not give up the bottle without having it tested yourself. You can sue either the product manufacturer or the seller. You should seek the services of a personal injury litigator.

Can a homeowner be sued if someone uses that address for their car insurance and was involved in a bad accident or fatal accident?

Renter's insurance covers the renter for damage to or theft of their own property kept at the rented property. This has NO relation to a car accident. In fact, most insurance OTHER THAN that which is specifically for automobile liability excludes coverage for any damages from a car accident. If you are the driver or owner of a vehicle involved in an accident, or if you are negligent in allowing someone else to use a car which is involved in an accident, you can be held at least partly liable. However, if your address is used and you have no other legal connection to the driver or owner of any vehicle which is involved in the accident, you cannot be made to pay any of the damages from such accident.
