Attorney Katie Goff is phenomenal! She’s educated, punctual, caring; yet authoritative. I was between a rock and a hard spot when she agreed to take on my messy case. She completed more work in one week than my previous attorney had accomplished in six months. I appreciate everything she and her staff accomplished for me, and will forever be indebted.
We hired Katie for my brother's divorce and since I was paying for her services I had many interactions with Katie. I found her to be forgetful, disorganized, and not trustworthy. Unfortunately it was too close to mediation and we had already paid a lot of money to switch to another lawyer, in retrospect, I wish we had. She made many errors in her correspondence and at times her email messages seemed incoherent. She admitted that she was not prepared for mediation, and it showed.
Katie was very overpriced and ended up coming back to me after the case was completed for an additional balance. She did minimal work in the case, as my ex-husband never appeared to court cases and once the case was over she was extremely rude. She was also disorganized and seemed to forget important information, often asking the same question multiple times and then billing me for it. She also sent me bills for her other clients, it seemed she was confused and very unprofessional. I would not recommend her services.
I was referred to Katie by Legal Shield and she gave me a discount on the total cost for my custody modification. She was able to make back whatever the discount might have been as she charged me for every single email to include the emails from my ex-husband that I asked her to cease. She argued with me, sent disorganized emails, didn't listen to my wishes and did absolutely nothing for me aside from take my money! She even charged me after I had fired her and asked her a question via email.
We hired Katie Goff for an estate matter, we found her to be ill prepared, unorganized and not focused on our matter. She was rude to my wife and myself. We would never hire her again,or give as a contact for others.
