Three years ago, I returned to Colorado after twenty-five years. I graduated from Littleton High School, in Littleton, Colorado, where I was awarded a Regent's Scholarship to the University of Colorado. Though I chose to attend college elsewhere, I knew I would return to live and raise my children. I am licensed to practice law in Colorado, California and Texas. Though my practice has encompassed a broad range of commercial disputes including securities, antitrust, intellectual property, technology, contract, real estate, personal injury, environmental, employment law, pharmaceutical sciences, class action, and business torts, my focus for the last eight years has been in the area of complex domestic relations. Due to my background in corporate and business law and finance, I find that I am particularly well-suited to this area of practice, particularly in matters involving division of complex financial assets such as trusts and closely held or family businesses. I have litigated in state and federal courtrooms across the United States. As a trial lawyer, I am a determined investigator and detail oriented. I possess superior oral and written communication and presentation skills and am extremely comfortable speaking to groups, irrespective of demographic. I am a skilled negotiator and have participated in all manner of ADR. I am personable and work well with a minimum of supervision. As my recent case-load demonstrates, I am adept at prioritization and a seasoned multi-tasker. I am a perennial client favorite.
