About Matt Hardin

Attorney Matt Hardin, a second-generation lawyer from Cookeville, Tennessee, is the founder and owner of Matt Hardin Law, PLLC. A Rhodes College graduate, he earned both his master’s and law degrees from the University of Tennessee. Matt concentrates his practice on plaintiff personal injury, car and tractor-trailer accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and premises liability throughout Tennessee’s three grand divisions and in Kentucky. His leadership roles include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, where he now serves as a Trustee for LIFT (Lawyers Involved for Tennessee). He is a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation and an active member of the Nashville, Tennessee, and Kentucky bar associations, as well as the Kentucky Justice Association. Recognized for excellence, he holds AV Preeminent® certification from Martindale-Hubbell®, is listed among Best Lawyers®, named one of the “10 Best in Tennessee” for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, and is a Mid-South Superlawyer. As a former client of Matt's (and also as an attorney), I highly recommend him. He helped me tremendously in a personal injury case by discussing placing monetary value on something that is difficult to place a value on (an injury that changes one's life).
