About Matt Hardin

Attorney Matt Hardin, a second-generation lawyer from Cookeville, Tennessee, is the founder and owner of Matt Hardin Law, PLLC. A Rhodes College graduate, he earned both his master’s and law degrees from the University of Tennessee. Matt concentrates his practice on plaintiff personal injury, car and tractor-trailer accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and premises liability throughout Tennessee’s three grand divisions and in Kentucky. His leadership roles include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, where he now serves as a Trustee for LIFT (Lawyers Involved for Tennessee). He is a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation and an active member of the Nashville, Tennessee, and Kentucky bar associations, as well as the Kentucky Justice Association. William Mayfield at Matt Hardin Law was recommended to me after I was involved in an auto accident that involved personal injury last fall. From the very first phone call to William, he has been outstanding to work with and on top of things. Beverly and Chandra have also been amazing to work with throughout this whole process. They have all been very responsive to emails and calls, even calling just to check in and see how I was feeling or let me know where things were with the case. I never imagined in a million years that I would need a personal injury lawyer, but I am lucky I had this group on my side. I highly recommend this law firm; they are top notch!!

I contacted Matt Hardin Law in June of 2019 due to an auto accident I was involved in. I was highly impressed with Matt's office. From the first call until the case was closed, I never had to worry about what was happening with the case. Matt McFarland and his paralegal Chandra were both great to work with. They always returned calls or emails in a timely manner! I would 100% recommend this firm to everyone.

I was waiting at a stop sign and another vehicle hit me head on. My vehicle was totalled and I had severe whiplash. All I had to do was concentrate on getting better and Matt Hardin Law took care of the rest. I've dealt with other lawyers before and it didn't turn out like I was hoping. They nickel and dimed me for everything down to the paper clips! Matt Hardin Law is different. They have you in their best interests, treat you with respect and want to get you the most out of your settlement.

I was 19 when I was hit by a lady with no insurance. I was clueless as to what to do. So I started researching lawyers and I came across Matt Hardin. I found nothing but good things appear. Two days after my accident we met up and I was very comfortable and happy with choosing this legal team. Very kind and humble people. My kids and I were rear ended. We contacted a few high profile lawyers only to be told they could not take our case. This was a frustrating time and I did not know what to do. I was referred to Matt Hardin by a friend. They took our case and worked hard to get us justice! We went through physical therapy and were ready to get back to our normal lives.
