Hired Law Firm

Very responsive and always on top of my issues, which I find very rare. Very friendly and down-to-earth - offices are functional, but not plush, which I also find refreshing. I know I'm paying for those fancy offices at other law firms. Tom Lapka is a true gentleman, and the staff there is top-notch.

Hired Attorney Hon Janice Cunningham

Ms. Cunningham was recommended so I retained her for my divorce. I found her to be impersonal. She never checked to see how I was doing. Her Legal Secretary had a serious attitude. Most communication was done by e-mail. There were things that she admittedly would have done differently regarding my settlement, but she never said anything to me about it. I did most of the work on my own. Basically all they did was help with paperwork and I had to point out errors in it several times.
