If you know of someone in need of an adult guardian, do not go to McDuffey Law in Lansing. They became my guardian on January 26th of this year. Since that time, I... 1) Have never received a penny of money from them. 2) My Social Security benefits have been suspended. 3) My phone service will be shut off this coming Sunday. 4) Failed to schedule a dental appointment as promised to the probate court. 5) Had to beg for four days just to get a few bags of groceries. 6) Over $14000 of past Social Security never made it to McDuffey. 7) Guardian support staff is combative, ignores emails and seems not to care about me at all. 8) Is having a negative impact on my mental health. Avoid McDuffey at all costs!!!
