This company has ripped me off completely. Neglected my case and lost it due to incompetence. I’m in the process of filing a malpractice lawsuit against them. They bounced me around from attorney to attorney and they charged me for thousands of dollars in fees for work they never did. I hired them to prevent my house from being sold and they failed to do a simple lis pendens on the property. They let my spouse get away with adultery, abuse, and abandonment. Check BBB, and the state bar association for other real reviews, as they have created websites and fake reviews on Google. I’m in the process of collecting information for a class action suit. They hire a team of salesmen to get you in the door promising you anything, then they will bleed you dry. This company needs to get shutdown because they are taking advantage of people who are trying to pay them to protect their assets and livelihoods. Stay away!!

Eric Engel, the only lawyer I met with and only once said I would not be charged for emails. He said this in front of his own staff yet it was the bulk of the $1800 feet I was charged for what I thought was their advertised free consultation with a lawyer. That free consultation isn’t even indicated anywhere on the bill to which I conclude the one meeting I had with Eric Engel should have been my free consultation and opportunity to decide whether to hire this firm at all. They put the cart before the horse in demanding a contract and retainer before ever talking to one of their lawyers so I could evaluate their firm. Apparently the billing started when I signed the contract and not after the consultation as is typical. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!! They take your money and nickel and dime you for everything. The divorce was quoted for $3,500. Once the court automatically set a court date, they then charged our account for an additional $12,000. When I asked about this, they ignored my emails and phone calls. This divorce with no children has cost over $16,000. Over $4,000 were charges that were administrative tasks, such as entering dates on the attorney's calendar or creating an email which was billed again for submitting the email.

Beware of this firm! If you want representation from a law firm that will nickel and dime you for all the money they can and do the absolute bare minimum this is the firm for you! If you want to be aggressively charged multiple times throughout the day so many time that you bank flags you to the point you have to get a new card. This is the firm for you! They took me for over $8k just for mediation, no decree was written by them and they did not even do a discovery for me. My mediation was a wast of time and money and now in order to go to trial they are demanding $17,500! Don't fall for it like I did people just cause they pop up on the top of Google search and seem to have good reviews, dig deeper and you'll find out this company is not what they make themselves out to be! Working with this Bryan Fagan law firm has been disappointing, six months, three different attorneys, one not even a family law attorney, no temporary orders for my adult disabled son, missed court fixings, misspelled name on petitions, over billed, exhausted trust account we sti have no court date, billed still , no callbacks they will recuse themselves if inquiries are made or ethics questioned They do not fight for your case, billing staff is combative and bullying, we are domestic violence survivors, and are now depleted of funds and hope, they recuse themselves $5k later with no disclosure just an email from billing and a paralegal.
