I've been a California attorney for almost 30 years. My practice consists of civil litigation and family law. The common approach is that I evaluate the facts and the law taking pragmatic and innovative approaches in an attempt to reach an early resolution. If there is stonewalling, I litigate. I strive to efficiently manage complicated cases. I have a virtually paperless office and use cost savings procedures such as electronic filing procedures offered by some courts.

Family law: I want help you to stabilize your life by looking past the immediate anger and frustration to reach your long-term goals so that you and your children will thrive. I like representing the one who is stable, plays by the rules and is dependable. I'll attempt to work with the other side to reach a fair, prompt and economical resolution. I aggressively handle cases involving abuse or financial chicanery.

I give personal attention to smaller cases and work with clients to manage their litigation budget. My goal is to provide legal services to others in the way that I would want to be represented.

Michael Bush is a excellent Family Law Lawyer. He went above and beyond to help me. Truly he did! I had a lot of complications in my divorce and when we hit a road block he pressed straight ahead and gave me words of encouragement. He followed though with everything single thing he said we was going to do from day one. He provided me compassion and professionalism. Even through the Covid-19 pandemic Michael Bush didn’t quit. I’m so grateful to have been his client these last few years- Yes I said years to get through my divorce, but we made made! That’s how Michael made me feel, like we were a team! I can’t thank him enough you won’t be let down!

I called D. Michael Bush in 2018 when I was battling custody for my son. It was my first time ever going to court. He was so patient and explained the whole process thoroughly. After we won my case, he would follow up with me to see how my son and I were doing. He truly does care about his people. A year later, I got served with custody papers again. I called D. Michael Bush and he did not hesitate to help me. He showed up to all my court dates and would always answer my calls/ emails or any questions I had. We won my case again! My friends/ family have contacted him and they all agree that he is truly amazing! We couldnt have done it with out him. So, thank you D. Michael Bush for everything!

A hard worker who is beyond sympathetic and explains things in a way that you can understand. Is always on time, I never had to wait around when we had appointments. Michael is always an email or phone call away, depending on what you prefer. He has helped me through so many situations that I thought I could never emerge from, and I rose like a Phoenix from the ashes, happier, healthier, and more confident in myself. Michael stands up for the good in life. I don’t even want to say he just stands up for me. He stands up for what is right. He is not the pitbull attorney most people think they want.
