Can my sponsor really cancel my green card?

Justin Wang
Answered by attorney Justin Wang (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Sheppard Mullin
Your green card is depending on your mother's marriage with him. If your mother received green card or removed the condition, you can do the same. He cannot simply "cancel" your green card. If your mother received conditional green card, she may add you when she applies for I-751. If your step father refuses to file joint petition with your mother, your mother will have to divorce him and file waiver of joint petition.

Can I travel just with my EAD if I have no other ID?

Answered by attorney Alena Shautsova
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Alena Shautsova
You are not required to have a passport for the in-state travel. Take credit cards, if any, under your name as well, and your birth certificate. Passport plus EAD should be enough. The easiest way to solve this for future travels: apply for a state driver's license or a state ID card.

Lawyer sent Provisional waiver with error

Answered by attorney Alena Shautsova
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Alena Shautsova
You should be ok, don't worry, as long as lawyer provides good explanation as to what happened. (Of course, provided the error is not a misrepresentation).
