Justin Wang
Answered by attorney Justin Wang (Unclaimed Profile)

If you entered the US legally your father can file petition for you right now and you can file I-485 concurrently. If not, unless you are 245i protected, you cannot adjust status in the US.You may have to return to Mexico for visa processing. However you may be subject to the 10 year bar due to your unlawful presence in the US for more than one year.Consult with an immigration lawyer for advise.
