It is possible that you might still be able to get a green card under VAWA. Since you never called the police on him, it might be a little harder to prove the physical abuse. However, there are still other ways to prove that you were emotionally and physically abused. Work with an immigration attorney to guide you through the process.

It is important you get a criminal lawyer as well as an immigration lawyer and that they work together unless the charges will be dropped. Are you and your wife still together? Will you be filing jointly to remove conditions on your PR?
