Could my husband cancel my green card?

Answered by attorney Kevin L. Dixler
Immigration lawyer at Law Office of Kevin L. Dixler
I strongly recommend an appointment with a competent and experienced immigration attorney. You have rights, but preserving the evidence can prove important. Our office can be reached at 312-588-055 for legal advice and an opinion on which form of relief you may pursue at this point.

Immigration lawyer at Florido & Associates, P.A.
If you are a US Citizen and your parents entered legally that would not be required to go back. The process normally takes about 6 months if adjusting in the U.S.

Should we be honest when we file a 485?

Answered by attorney Harun Kazmi
Immigration lawyer at Kazmi & Sakata
You should be honest. If he has no "removal order" the fact that he violated his F1 will not be an issue. However, you would need to verify if he was ever ordered removed/deported. If he just overstayed his F1 change of status, he can still file the adjustment.
