My understanding is that as long as you choose to remain in the United States, you must abide by the laws of the country. You are not able to unilaterally revoke your consent to be governed by the US government while you are here. If your citizenship application was denied, you would have been given a written notice of the intent to deny your application and you would have been given an opportunity to respond.  I would need to see that notice to properly advise you.
