Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Hes helped me win 2 cases so far. He's busy so I know it takes time to reply. I give him tons of information. Tons of emails ans he puts together the plan and defenses. He gets it. It took him a while but he gets it now. He's fighting for us but is a bit expensive. We'll worth it though. I'm sure the 1 star reviews are very inpatient people that didn't have any money to pay him.
BEWARE: Kenneth Royce Barrett is a dishonest crook. Retained $1.0K May 2022, then implied case difficulty increased on its own; potentially warranting additional funding. Case involved a six month compounded rodent infestation property ignored for six months then served Eviction Notice. I then negotiated an Exit Strategy with Property Management on my own. Barrett advised to not inform of move out date in email. Never heard from him again. Many requests for residual retainer to be refunded spanning seven months and no funds. Only bogus excuses and lies. Six months later he says he told to remain in apartment via text. Another lie. BEWARE!!!
He is a CROOK!! Took my money, never filed anything on my behalf. Showed up to court, confused never prepared or even remembering details of my case. Not even having copies of any documents I emailed. It was clear he took advantage of another client. He gave me legal advice- only beneficial to opposing parties! I saw another review that stated, he seemed to be working for the opposite side clearly. I lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. He took my money and I honestly think he was paid to tank my case and he did that, spectacularly. I’m seeking criminal charges in this case at this time.
Mr. Barrett is the worse attorney I've seen in 50 years. Don't waste your time or money, because never do what he says he'll do. After he gets your money all communication stops. Whatever you do don't hire this guy?
He will talk the talk but does not walk the walk. If he does take the walk, he excludes his clients, only to be certain to take cases like mine which he knows is worth money. He has ignored my calls and emails since I paid him. Theb called me to get my story once, then gone again never to speak to him again.
Wow I am sorry to the other person bc the exact same thing happened to me. He just disappeared for ~42 days after blocking me on Twitter. I’ve asked him why so many times. Finally he said that my communication style reminded him of the way he was treated when he was younger… I’m sorry, what? I’m still baffled.
