Good service for the money.
Of course he took the retainer and did not follow up like he was supposed to. Poor at communication and cost me to be sanctioned. Filed a complaint with the Texas Bar as this was pure negligence and theft. I had to hire another attorney because he kept having excuses for not being in compliance with court deadlines. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.
Took a retainer fee of 2000.00, have not heard from him in 6 months. Never have I been stolen from and this was flat out theft. Can’t trust anyone these days! I’ll be filing against his license. Do not use him for your personal or legal services. His voicemail mail is full and has not been at their office.
My mother paid him in full for a simple will in Feb 2023. James Elston has not given her anything but excuses. I have no idea how he sleeps at night taking $400 from an 84 yo. I have asked him multiple times to complete the contest or refund her money in full. Neither has happened.
