The law firm of Schnipper, Britton & Stobaugh was originally established by James Bussey Wood and George Washington Murphy in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1875. The firm has been in continuous practice in Hot Springs since that date. The firm and its following members have continuously enjoyed a reputation of practicing the best possible law consistent with the Rules of Professional Conduct. The firm has produced three Judges, the last of which was the late Chancery/Probate Judge, James W. Chesnutt.

Great experience working with John Stobaugh with Schnipper, Britton & Stobaugh! I ended up getting a DWI this past year and through family friends was recommended to get in contact with Mr. Stobaugh. He was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the laws surrounding DWI. After explaining to me in detail of what options I had available Mr. Stobaugh was able to create me a solid defense and as a result achieved an agreement with the court that I was more than pleased with. I cannot thank this group enough and would recommend Mr. Stobaugh to anyone in need of similar help!

John Stobaugh represented me recently during my divorce and I would recommend him and this office to anyone! Not only was he very informative and helped me make the best decisions, he was respectful and always timely when responding to my emails and calls. My wife and I were looking for an attorney we could trust with an upcoming custody issue. I came to John Stobaugh and he jumped right into our case . The First time I met this man it was like we had known each other for years. Needless to say yesterday I got full custody of my daughter an she is now safe I could never thank John an his firm enough. Awesome people thank you all.
